How to apply

APPLICATION

In order to apply to Pay Challenge’17, you have to register in this website.

After registering and logging in, you have to complete the application form.

PHASE 1

The first selection phase focus in analysing the solution concept. It must be submitted a single document until 23h59 of September 29th of 2017 in this website.

It must be submitted a single document limited to seven pages. Annexes could be appended to this document which can be in unlimited number must not exceed 50 pages. The content of the document should include at least the following mandatory topics:

  • Solution’s executive summary
  • Approach used to respond the selected challenge
  • Solution’s development process
  • Final Concept
  • Benefits

After receiving all submitted documents the selection judge will analyse and evaluate them until September 29th of 2017 until participants will be contacted until October 2nd of 2017 via email.

 

 

Evaluation Criteria

In the first selection phase, the projects will be analysed and evaluated by the following standards:

  • Impact in the financial ecosystem (25%)
  • Innovation (25%)
  • Applicability in the market (20%)
  • Feasibility (20%)
  • Scalability (10%)

PHASE 2

The second selection phase focuses on analysing the solution demonstration in the Open API. It must be submitted two documents until 23h59 of October 2oth of 2017 in this website.

The two documents that should be submitted:

1. It must be submitted a document limited to seven pages. Annexes could be appended to this document which can be in unlimited number must not exceed 50 pages. The content of the document should include at least the following mandatory topics

  • Executive Summary
  • Approach used to respond the selected challenge
  • Final Solution
  • Merit and Evolution of the Solution
  • Potential of Applicability
  • Benefits

 

2. A document limited to 20 slides which will be the presentation document to be used in the selection presentation with the judge.

All participants should have full availability to do the presentation between October 23rd and 26th of 2017 in a venue to be announced.

Until 23h59 of October 27th of 2017 the participants will be informed, by email, if they are finalists.

All documents must be submitted in PDF format and a maximum size of 5 Mb.

Videos and photographies are accepted if only mentioned and explained in the submit document(s). Videos must be uploaded in Youtube as Unlisted and with maximum duration of 2 minutes.

Photographies must be uploaded in JPEG and maximum size of 1 Mb.

2017, October, 23rd to 26th – Pitch and Demo presentations before the Selection Judge

2017, October, 30th – Announcement of the finalists

2017, November, 6th – Final presentation event
